Who am I and who is He?

Who am I?

You are not who you think you are!  You are more valuable than that.

God has made you in His image, for His glory and purpose. Through knowing him and serving him, we can find the best life that is imaginable. The bible declares that He (Jesus Christ) has come so that we may have a life in all its fullness. Many of us today do not know anything of this life because we don't know Jesus. The church exists in many forms all over the world to glorify the living God and to introduce the Lord Jesus Christ to all who will accept him through faith. It is for you as an individual person to find faith for yourself and not to rely on a priest or to live off someone else's faith. But if you seek God, you will find that He is already seeking you.

Who is He?

Jesus Christ is not a swear word or a name that we blaspheme, he is a person of the Trinity: God the Son. He is neither  just a prophet, or a rabbi (teacher), or king, but the most important person who has ever walked this earth. He has always been God, but became a man (Jesus), laying aside his greatness and glory, so that we as fallen human beings could know him and see him, and through him, know the heart of God.

He was born of a virgin, lived a perfect and blameless life, was wrongly tried, convicted and condemned to death, nailed to a cross and crucified, so that we could be forgiven. None of this was a surprise to him, this is what he came for.  He sacrificed his perfect life so that our sinful lives could be made clean. On the third day after having been buried in a borrowed tomb, he rose from the dead and ascended into heaven after been seen by 500 plus people. Now he dwells in heaven, awaiting his glorious return to earth, where he will rid the world of evil, conquer the satanic forces of this world and bring peace to a dying world.

If you want to know more, please get in touch with us, or ask for a free copy of the bible, which we would be happy to give you free of charge.
